It has been so long since I have updated our blog. Lots of big things have happened in our life recently. He bought a house a little over a year ago and after being in the house for a few months we found out that I was pregnant with our first baby. Parson Dean Jones was born on April 5 at 2:47pm he was 9 pounds 5 ounces and 22 inches long.
It has been an adjustment over the last 17 days. Trying to be a wife, mother, and housekeeper can be kind of stressful when a two week old controls the schedule. Sometimes I don't have time to shower or go to the bathroom, but we are managing okay. I even managed to make meatloaf and baked potatoes for dinner last night. Aaron was so happy to have a "real" meal for the first time in a few weeks.
We are starting to figure out how to schdedual outings with a little one to. I went to the grocery store on Wednesday just me and the baby and it was successful. The key is going right after a feeding so he usually just sleeps in the car and as I push the cart at the store around. This boy is a sucker for motion.
I am going to try to get to Target this afternoon so I can finish Aaron's and Parson's Easter baskets for Sunday morning. So after his noon feeding we will make a break for the big red store.
Now that dinner takes me a few extra hours to plan and cook I better get on it. Baked barbeque Chicken for dinner tonight if all goes according to plan.
