Watch Out! More Change Ahead!

July 1st, July 1st, July 1st has been on my mind since I gave birth to my sweet boy. July 1st is a dreaded day, the day I go back to work. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my job and the company that I work for, but I also really love being a Mommy. BUT, like most American family's, Aaron and I both have to work.

I have been fortunate enough that my company and boss were very gracious and understanding about my desire to be a Mom and my need to work for pay. They are allowing me to work five 5 1/2 hour days each week. It eases my heart that Parson will only have to be in daycare for under 6 hours instead of 8. This also gives me time to come home spend time with my baby and husband and get things done around the house.

Parson will be going to a daycare that is very close to our home, and its right on my way to and from the office. We have spent time there and the care providers are FANTASTIC and the facility was always clean, organized, and clear about what went on. I was very impressed at this because I never made an appointment (on purpose) with the daycare, I just showed up at random different times of the day. They have a very clear scheduled day to keep the infants comfortable. Parson really liked all the care providers that he spent time with. This also eased my heart of my Mommy worries.

Not only will Parson be getting good care and affection but he will also be learning. I am super excited that they teach baby sign language! My Aunt used sign language with her son, and I loved how it made communicating much smoother. This of course means that I need to learn to, I will keep you posted on that. ;)
